bowtie2-examples software package provides Examples for bowtie2,, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bowtie2-examples
bowtie2-examples is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bowtie2-examples package were installed using the commands given below,
